Jubilee Churches

The Jubilee Churches of Gloucester, a coalition of 17 congregations in Gloucester (including Apostles), will be meeting on Wednesday, February 12th, at 9:30 AM at Bethany United Methodist Church.

Anyone is welcome to attend!!

The Jubilee Churches recently assisted a married couple with three children aged 10, 4, and 2 who were in need of help with paying their electric bill. They were only able to contribute $100 toward their bill. The husband is the sole financial provider for the family and mom stays at home with the young children. Unfortunately, the husband has Multiple Sclerosis and recently had a flare up that caused him to miss work and have a short hospital stay. His pay was short due to his need to miss work. He receives infusions to help treat symptoms of this condition and mom is hopeful this will prevent any more flare ups in the near future. Samaritan Group was able to help contribute toward their rent last month and the Jubilee Churches were able to pay the balance on the electric bill after mom made her payment. Mom expressed her extreme gratitude for the Jubilee Churches. The school was helping mom with Christmas gifts this year.
